ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Youth Exchange Center, as a company with a great experience in organising many exchange programs for youths, now wants to introduce a unique program called Work Experience Poland. This time Poland is a destination country and the program is located on Polish countryside. Every student as well as other young people up to 40 years old may participate in it. Of course, invariable, like in all of our programs, apart from working possibility, Youth Exchange Center guarantee unforgettable moments and a chance of getting to know Polish working environment on the countryside as well as daily life. We also encourage participants to travel all around Poland after finishing a program and visit at least Wroclaw, Krakow and Warsaw.

The offer is mainly for young people who are willing to work on farms in Poland for the period up to 3 months, during the whole year. Youth Exchange Center as an program organiser selects employers very carefully, taking into consideration the standards of the farms, duty meals and accommodation facilities. It is also possible to find accommodation by the participant. Youth Exchange Center together with its Partners will provide all documents necessary for the participant to apply for a visa which is a work permit at the same time. Moreover, according to the agreement between the Polish and Ukrainian, Bulrush and Russian government, all Polish visas are free of charge.The main working duties on the farms are:
- reaping the harvest
- taking care of animals
- operating farming equipment
The employees work around 40 hours per week in straight shifts with opportunity to work overtimes. The salary oscillates between 1200 PLN – 1500 PLN gross per month. Anyway, most of the time the salary is dependent on the participant due to the piecework. It is possible to get the Youth Exchange Center’s Certificate after completing the whole program. It is an official confirmation of foreign apprenticeship. If the participant wants to gain professional experience, will get cases from Youth Exchange Center to solve. Moreover, the cases are analysed by our experts. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

- English or Polish language basic knowledge
- valid passport at least 6 months after completing the program
TRANSPORT AND INSURANCE
Participant is obligatory to get to the employer. That is to say, that transportation from Ukraine to Poland is not provided by Youth Exchange Center. However, the cheapest way of travelling in Poland is the PKP railway and the PKS buses.

It is good to have youth card or student card, for example ISIC (International Students Identity Card) or EURO 26. Those cards guarantee health insurance, transport discounts and many more.
LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM
To fill in the gap of an increasingly strong demand for a farm personnel, Youth Exchange Center launched Work Experience Program for Ukrainian people. It is possible for the participants to come for the period of 6 months. Anyway, the program is organized during the whole year. During the winter time there is a chance to work in a greenhouse, during the other periods it is possible to work in the fields.EMPLOYERS
The employers are carefully selected and all farms guarantee safety and security for their workers. There are small as well as big farms located all over Poland. The employers deal with fruits, garden plants and vegetables production or have animal husbandry.
